- Check our Airbnb listings for availability depending on when you want to book.
- Only one of our houses is available for booking outside Airbnb : Peaceful Kyoto Bungalow. Though we only accept bookings for more than one month for this house.
- Reservations are only made through Airbnb. If you want informations about the house or if you have any questions, just complete the “reservations” form above and submit. Please tell us the name of the machiya you want to book in the message area.
The meeting place is at our Office. We will provide the map and address when we confirm the reservation.
Guests are requested to contact us with arrival time.
Upon or prior to check-in, guests are provided with information about the machiya and the surrounding area. Verbal or written confirmation regarding receipt this information constitutes our rental agreement. We will also give you a tour of the house and then hand over the key to your machiya.
Check-in time : 3:00pm – 9:00pm.
Guests who arrive after 9pm for any reason at all must pay a late fee on arrival, to cover extra costs. The fee will be 2,000 yen from 9pm to 12am, and 5,000 yen from 12am to 9am.
Luggages can be dropped at the Office before 3pm if needed.
No self check-in possible.

Please note that Maneki Machiya does not provide meals for guests.
Check-out procedures will be explained to guests at the time of check-in.
